Living moss for the urban space – from gray concrete to green oases
Renewable facades, blooming walls and buildings that breathe – the cities of the future need significantly more green spaces than today.
Greenworks strive to realize and enable the vision of greener cities. Botanical elements, whether placed horizontally or vertically, are underrated, yet resilient living materials, playing a vital role in the cities of the future.
For this purpose, moss, nature’s own 350 million-year-old patent, is a material of particular interest.
At Greenworks, we have studied the fantastic properties of mosses and use this microscopically small all-rounder for greening vertical and horizontal surfaces elegantly throughout our urban spaces.
