Sustainable systems and circular materials

A large part of the materials included in our indoor plant walls consist of recycled and recyclable materials.
Our advanced capillary plant fabric, made from recycled clothing, is optimally developed to allow the plants' root systems to spread throughout the plant wall.
The result is not just plants on a wall surface, but an aesthetically strong and viable vertical garden.
Greenworks systems have a moisture-proof frame that provides support for the plants' root systems, are waterproof and are made from recycled and recyclable materials.
The plants are carefully selected to minimize the need for replacement over time and our sensor-based irrigation systems are calibrated to minimize excess water.

Better air quality leads to increased well-being

An abundance of plants in our immediate environment provides many benefits. By building vertically, it becomes possible to place a large mass of plants in a small area, which has an impact on air quality.
According to research, plants can purify most types of pollutants in our indoor air, for example various VOCs such as formaldehyde and benzene, but also pollutants originating from various combustion processes such as carbon monoxide, nitrogen oxide and sulfur dioxide.
In addition to purifying the air from pollutants, plants convert carbon dioxide into oxygen and increase the humidity in our otherwise dry indoor air, especially during the winter months.
During hot periods, the plant wall has a cooling effect.
